About
Unisorter is an online platform which is trying to bridge the gap between students and universities by simplifying the process of search, compare and apply for higher education. As this is a startup I was very fortunate to work on this product very closely.
As a UI Designer in the team, I worked closely with the founder to design the entire product which has a new vision. My role involved Interface designing, wire-framing concepts, UX, visual design, and prototyping. The focus was to build a responsive web application.
Product Vision
Ease process of applying for higher education
We want to ease the process for students to apply for tertiary education by giving them transparent options to compare among different universities and courses offered by them. This will help them make more informed decisions to apply in the correct course and university.
Connect students already studying in universities with applicants
Unisorter is trying to bridge the knowledge gap of the first-hand experience from current students to applicants. This will help in a better understanding of courses and programs and hence enabling better and more informed decisions.
Generate leads for universities
Trying to generate leads for university admission officers in the form of prospective students who might be interested in pursuing a particular course.
Home Page
Students can search for their preferred course in one go. The aim of this page was to give an insight into what UniSorter offers as a product. Apart from direct search, the homepage gives a preview of Courses in Trends, Popular Scholarships, Education Experts, Student Ambassadors, Student Reviews etc.
Universities
This is where anyone who is targeting a particular university could look for different universities and find more details about the university like their Ranks, Courses, Key Dates to apply, etc.

Unisorter provides a platform where the user can Search, Sort, and Compare different courses and universities of their preferences.

After the comparison is done user can directly apply for different courses through the dashboard, where the user can fill in the details just once and doesn't bother to fill in the same details again and again while applying for different courses.
The dashboard lets the user manage, edit and track the courses they are applying for and can chat with Ambassadors and Experts for any information required regarding the course.
